What We Offer to Our Clients

At Empirical Education, we specialize in rigorous research, conducted on a local scale.

The life cycle of a research study moves through several stages:

  • design
  • development of instruments
  • recruitment of research sites
  • training and implementation
  • management of operations
  • data collection and warehousing
  • data analysis
  • dissemination of findings

We have the expertise to conduct research studies from inception to reporting. For studies of new interventions, we can assist in district–vendor partnerships, often substantially lowering costs.

Drawing on components of our overall capabilities, we offer services—research design or data collection and warehousing, for example—to school district research departments and other organizations. We are also expert at planning and conducting required evaluation components of state or federal grants.

MeasureResults®

In addition to our standard services, we are now offering a suite of online research and data analysis tools called MeasureResults. MeasureResults is a web-based solution for educators and publishers who want to determine the need for—and evaluate the effectiveness of—products and services aimed at improving performance of students in grades K-12.

MeasureResults is a web-based solution for educators and publishers who want to determine the needs for—and evaluate the effectiveness of—products and services aimed at improving performance of students in grades K-12.

MeasureResults is tailored toward the needs of school systems and educational product developers. The online interface makes MeasureResults an ideal tool for educators—both in districts and in larger systems such as intermediate units and state agencies—who want to explore the effectiveness of new products, programs, or practices without costly and time-consuming participation in large-scale studies. Through simple yet rigorous analysis, publishers can also leverage the convenience and cost-effectiveness of MeasureResults when introducing new products to schools. In addition, MeasureResults serves as an efficient and low-cost interface for research partnerships with foundations and other entities concerned with educational outcomes.
