School Impact Reports, based on the past years’ usage data in a single U.S. state, are designed to meet ESSA Evidence Tier 2: moderate evidence. We map usage data to our database of U.S. school characteristics, so there is no need for identifiable data for individual students or teachers. By combining a year’s worth of usage data with demographic and geographic data on schools, we can provide you with a low-cost, quick turnaround impact report.
It isn’t enough to know that your product was successfully implemented. Educators want to know whether implementing an edtech product results in improved outcomes for schools like theirs. We match schools that are active implementers of the product with non-user schools with similar characteristics (e.g. prior achievement and student demographics).

Student Impact Reports, based on the past years’ usage data in a single U.S. school district, are designed to meet ESSA Evidence Tier 2: moderate evidence. We work with a district that was identified by the Footprint and Feasibility process. This minimizes the level of effort by using data collected from the prior school year, which keeps the cost of this study low. Student usage data are matched with district data (demographics and student classroom or school assignments).
In order to meet the ESSA Evidence standards for Tier 2, we match users with non-users in the same district.
