As a statistician in Empirical, Li Lin is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs using advanced statistical methods. She programs statistical procedures in SAS, R, and HLM software to analyze experiment data and survey data. Li works with research managers to support report delivery and graphical presentations. She also collaborates with data warehousing engineers to collect, clean, and process data. Currently, her work focuses on using survey analysis to find empirical evidence proving the success of certain educational programs and using advanced analysis to combine evidence from multiple previous clinical trials for our research work.
Before joining Empirical, Li completed Master degree in statistics from California State University, and she also holds a Master degree in Economics with extensive empirical econometric research experience.
