As a Research Assistant at Empirical Education, Lindsay Maurer focuses on evaluating the CREATE teacher residency program in Atlanta Public Schools, a project invested in expanding equity in education by developing critically conscious, compassionate, and skilled educators. In her previous role at the California Public Policy Analysis Lab at UC Davis, Lindsay supported a project analyzing the consequences of changes in education finance for educational excellence and equality in California schools. Her prior work assisting students at the Sacramento City College Counseling Department shaped her commitment to educational equity. Lindsay graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Sociology.
